Having spent some time choosing which RSS feeds I would like to add to my Blogline and decided first on 13, then 9, then 6 and now I can't remember how many, I realised (too late) that it is still a time-consuming affair to read all this information - should have stuck at one feed as had been suggested. Anyway, it is useful (if you like to be kept abreast of news as it happens) to have all the feeds in one place. Personally, I found that it is simply another ploy to keep me at my computer living life vicariously through others instead of getting down to my list of 'things to do' at home. On the other hand, once all the hard work (ie decisions on which RSS feeds to subscribe to) have been completed, and I am structured enough to check it once/twice a day and have countless facts and figures at my fingertips, it will be fantastic!!
I have been reading the Christchurch Library RSS feeds on new titles etc for a few months now and do find it extremely useful and easy to use. The use of RSS and newsreaders certainly allows for greater accumulation of information.

I thought I would like the RSS feed thing but I have found out that I am really not that interested in anything that is purportedly so interesting! However I did get some links done so that is cool, at least I know how to do that if I ever need to. Now for podcasts!
